Over the past year, Actavo has been helping to raise money for Mates in Mind, a mental health charity that provides support and resources to employees within the construction industry. Working with Mates in Mind Actavo has raised a total of £3,275.

November 30^th 2018 saw Actavo’s Christmas party take place and featured a raffle and auction, with all proceeds going to the charity, raffle tickets and sealed bids were taken in the run up to the party as well as more money raised on the evening.

Sam Magaldi, UK Purchasing Manager, said: “We are incredibly thankful to the large number of our suppliers who came out in force with some great items for us to raffle and auction off in order to raise money. We were gifted items such as a 43” TV, signed Anthony Joshua Shorts and an iPad to name but a few. With over 50 prizes we raised a fantastic amount for Mates in Mind.”

Paul Norris, Hire & Sales Managing Director, was pleased to present a cheque to James Rudoni, Managing Director of Mates in Mind at our branch in Uxbridge.

Paul Norris said: “As a company operating primarily in the construction sector, we wanted to do our best to support the good work that this charity does in our industry. Thank you to all those people who organised the fundraising activities, as well as those who donated through the auction and the raffle. Mates in Mind is a charity I really believe in, and I am proud that we have managed to contribute to them.”
