Actavo Civils Division has been awarded the Barrow Street Public Realm Improvement Scheme Project by Dublin City Council. The project encompasses a comprehensive transformation of Barrow Street from its junctions with Grand Canal Street Upper and Ringsend Road and will commence in early January 2024. The contract, valued at over €5m, was secured following a competitive tendering process.
The project will involve a range of significant improvements, including carriageway resurfacing in asphalt and the repaving of footpaths with new granite. Additionally, Actavo will undertake the rehabilitation of a section of water-main, the installation of new traffic and public lighting infrastructure, and the integration of aesthetically pleasing street furniture.
Actavo Civils is delighted to be selected as a trusted provider for the delivery of the Barrow Street Public Realm Improvement Scheme Project by Dublin City Council. The team is committed to delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions that positively impact the communities we serve. This project aligns with our mission to contribute to the enhancement of urban spaces, and we are eager to commence work in January 2024.
