Actavo Modular showcases completed project for Coláiste Phádraig CBS

Actavo Modular is delighted to showcase the final Evercam footage of our modular school project at Coláiste Phádraig CBS in Lucan, completed in 2023 under the Department of Education Prefabricated Modular Volumetric Accommodation Framework.

Designed, fabricated and installed by our highly-experienced team, the 36 no. modular building has added 1,350m2 of additional school accommodation, providing a bright and comfortable teaching environment for staff and students. All work was carried out with no disruptions to daily school operations.

Coláiste Phádraig CBS is located in a residential area of county Dublin. Therefore, the scope of works also included 500m of haul road to allow for deliveries and traffic management on site. Nearly a kilometre of Heras fencing was set up to provide extra security. To cater for the low temperatures during December 2023, the 80 no. foundations incorporated frost blankets and insulated shuttering, with design engineers’ specifications being met in all areas. The modules were fabricated over a four week period and installed in just 3 days.

We were very impressed with the work carried out by Actavo Modular. All the preparatory work as well as the installation was done in a live school environment during the school term, with little or no disruption to school operations
