Barry O’Donnell, Chief Financial Officer

Barry O’Donnell joined Actavo as Group Finance Director in May 2016, with over 15 years’ experience in finance. The role involved finance strategy and planning, M&A, Group treasury and debt management, as well as external and internal reporting.

In 2021, Barry was appointed as Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the financial operations of the company, including financial planning and strategy. He has a Batchelor of Business Studies, a Master of Accounting from UCD and is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. Barry is commercially focused and results driven. He has extensive experience driving finance functions in fast paced entrepreneurial environments. Previous roles included Head of Finance at Paddy Power Online and Finance Manager at Anglo Irish Bank.

Barry is a big believer in Actavo’s value of ‘Perform as a Team’. He is change orientated and works to optimise processes. He is also future orientated and plans for where Actavo is going, rather than where it is.
