During 2023, Actavo provided its tunnel roof stage for a variety of festivals and concerts. These events included Trinity Summer Series, Live on the Harbour Dún Laoghaire and The New Year’s Festival in Dublin City Centre.
Scope of works / Services delivered
In addition to the tunnel roof stage which has a performance area of 18x12m and an audience guideline of 30,000 people, Actavo also provides all transport, equipment and crew required for load-in and load-out of the stage including scaffolders, riggers, builders, forklift drivers, 360 teleporter drivers and general operatives.
Key successes
With a build time of 2 days, the tunnel roof stage is a time-efficient mobile solution for outdoor events.
Solutions to challenges
Live on the Harbour Dún Laoghaire and Trinity Summer Series took place on similar dates. Therefore, the events team required a quick turnaround time of 4 days to derig the stage, transport it and reassemble it at the new location.
Benefits to client
- The tunnel roof stage can be offered alongside other infrastructure from Actavo such as mojo, crowd control barriers and Prolyte. Actavo can also provide Imag structures and PA towers to cater for media if required.
- Branding opportunities are available off-stage, allowing brands to utilise advertising opportunities during the event.
- Marquees can be added and attached to the back of the stage, allowing for a larger loading area and additional space for the client if required.
- Event infrastructure is managed by a highly experienced team with an award-winning focus on safety and quality.
