Key successes
Actavo had 15 crew members on site, each one had to be antigen tested every 3 days. Actavo provided a Covid-19 officer to coordinate testing on site and appointed one person to liaise with the client to minimise contact and comply with Covid-19 safety requirements.
Solutions to challenges
During the install, the client realised they need a bridge built over a ditch for attendee safety. The team was able to design and spec the bridge on site and build it quickly. The client increased the order for crowd control barriers and round top fence panels 2 days before the event. Actavo was able to provide these within a short turnaround.
Benefits to client
Actavo has a long relationship with the client that spans 20 years. The team’s regular and open communication as well as the trust earned over the years led to a positive working environment for the client during an unprecedented time in the events industry.
