Actavo UK Telecoms team hands over 500 connected premises in Harbury to client Gigaclear

Actavo UK Telecoms team recently celebrated the handover of 500 connected premises in Harbury, Warwickshire, to client Gigaclear, as part of one of 8 concurrent fibre build projects in Buckinghamshire, Warwickshire and Oxfordshire, connecting 20,000 premises to Gigaclear’s FTTP network.

The team has secured significant additional design and build projects with Gigaclear, since work began in December 2021. Actavo’s Network Design team, which is a fully in-house function with extensive experience designing FTTP solutions in Ireland and the UK, is also currently designing 60,000 premises for Gigaclear.

  The overall five-year contract commenced in July 2021 and is being delivered by Actavo’s Network and In-Home Division. Under the contract, Actavo has recruited a workforce of 100+, to provide a full fibre network build across residential and commercial properties.

It is a privilege to support Gigaclear as its Primary provider of network builds in this region, and we look forward to bringing ultrafast broadband to more people and businesses in the South Central region of England over the coming months.
