Actavo Industrial Solutions, a provider of engineering services to the world’s leading industrial companies in the petrochemical, power, oil and gas, marine, nuclear and pharmaceutical sectors, has successfully secured a framework contract with Magnox Ltd for access, insulation, asbestos removal and other minor industrial services at six nuclear sites, which it is responsible for decommissioning. The four-year project will commence in October 2020 and will conclude in September 2024.
The collaboration highlights Actavo’s long-standing relationship with Magnox that has resulted in the delivery of high safety and quality standards over the past 20 years. As part of the new contract, Actavo has been awarded a total of six sites, two additional sites at Harwell and Winfrith, as well as retaining its four existing stations at Berkeley, Bradwell, Oldbury and Sizewell A.
