We are proud to unveil our latest achievement - a cutting-edge, two-storey building, spanning an impressive 4,223 square metres.
This remarkable project, part of the Department of Education’s enhanced modular buildings programme, features 152 steel-framed modular sections, making it the largest enhanced modular buildings project in Ireland to date.
We are proud to be at the forefront of this groundbreaking moment in the modular construction industry.
I am proud to present this school as a great example of modular methods of construction in action. Not only is this a defining project for our business, but for the MMC and modular industry across Ireland. It has many aspects we understand to be industry records in terms of:
Scale: Being the largest enhanced and permanent school building at 4,223m2.
Speed: The project was executed in only 15 months.
Module Weight: The concrete floors for each module were cast off site, with the modules arriving on site 90% complete. The heaviest module came in at 36 tons, which we also believe to be an industry record.
I thank the entire team, including our subcontractors and consultants, for their hard work and dedication to the project as well as my own team for their courage in delivering this first of its kind project to such a high quality and in record time. I would also like to thank our client - The Department of Education and Youth and AFEC International for entrusting Actavo with delivering such an important project.Mike Regan
