Actavo has launched its first Sustainability Report, entitled ‘Together for Zero’. The report reflects the group wide strategy across all the entities under our brand.
Together for Zero outlines progress under our Sustainability Strategy during 2022, underpinned by our core values: live safety; perform as a team; deliver operational excellence, focus on customer experience; and operate sustainably.
In 2022, Actavo achieved the following sustainability goals:
- Operated at 100% Green energy in all Actavo operated locations, reducing Scope 2 Carbon emissions by 95% since 2019
- Replaced 14% of our car/van fleet with Electric Vehicles
- Maintained accreditation for ISO 9001; Quality Management, ISO 45001; Occupational Health & Safety, ISO 14001; Environmental Management, ISO 50001; Energy Management and ISO 27001; Information Security, and BOPAS – Build Offsite Property Assurance Scheme
- Achieved a Silver Sustainability Rating from Ecovadis for 2022, and a Climate Disclosure Project (CDP) Climate Change rating of C for 2021
- Published a Gender Pay Gap Report for 2022, showing a gender pay gap of 4.4%
- Achieved a Total Incident Rate (TIR) of 1.80 for 2022, a 30% reduction on 2021
- Delivered 1,279 EHS training courses to 2,816 employees, completed 9,500 EHS site audits across the business with a further 1,000 other audits and inspections undertaken, and delivered a total of 807 Safety Communications globally.

Our safety performance is acknowledged with annual industry awards from RoSPA and NISO/NISG.
Actavo is a member of Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI)’s Low Carbon Pledge, committed to reducing its Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions by 50% by 2030, along with setting science-based targets by 2024 at the latest. Under BITCI’s Elevate Pledge, we have committed to building a more inclusive workplace, and 2022 initiatives included working with underrepresented groups in the community and supporting Dublin Pride.
