Congratulations to our Industrial Team on the Lilly Project in Limerick, for donating €2,102.50 to Milford Care Centre in Limerick, from a safety initiative run earlier this year in conjunction with our client, Jacobs Engineering.
During the month of March, the team committed that Actavo would donate €2.50 to our chosen charity for every Safety Observation Report (SOR) submitted on the project by the team. SORs are a critical component of site safety and the team used this opportunity to increase its SOR participation.
As a result, the team saw a significant spike in SORs and we were able to gratefully donate the proceeds to a very worthy charity, which holds a special meaning to some of our colleagues.
Milford Care Centre is a voluntary, not-for-profit organisation, which provides specialist palliative care and older persons services in the Mid West, delivering services that are tailored to the unique needs of patients and their families. Fundraising plays a vital role in fuelling the development and advancement of Milford’s initiatives. Funds raised will contribute to capital works and improve patient and family experiences.
Congratulations to our Industrial Team in Limerick for this excellent initiative, not only enhancing our focus on our core value, Live Safety, but also embracing our ethos of caring for the communities in which we operate.
