Actavo Group, headquartered in Dublin and operating in Ireland, the UK, the Caribbean and Middle East, with a global workforce of over 1,900, has released its annual results for the year ended 31st December 2022.
In 2022 the company generated revenues of €197.5m, an increase of 25% from the previous year (€158.2m) and delivered EBITDA of €15.1m, an increase of 70% (2021: €8.9m), and an operating profit of €8.7m (2022: €2.3m). The company reported cash and cash equivalents of €12.6 million (2021: €16.5m).
The growth in revenue and profits is attributed to strong business performance across all of our divisions and continued strong cost management.
2022 was a very strong year for Actavo, resulting in EBITDA growth of 70% arising from positive performances from our business divisions along with discipline in cost management. We are pleased with the business performance overall and the stability of the divisions across the Group, and this positions us for the next phase of our strategy.

In 2022, Actavo maintained its focus on operational excellence and high safety standards. The company received numerous health and safety awards, including the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Order of Distinction, the RoSPA President’s Award, the RoSPA Fleet Gold Medal and the RoSPA the RoSPA Fleet Safety Technology Trophy, which recognises the company’s road safety strategy and excellence in managing occupational road risk.
Actavo was also recognised at the NISO/NISG All-Ireland Occupational Health and Safety Awards, winning the Gold Award and ‘Excellence in Safety’ Award, recognising more than 15 years at distinction level or higher. Actavo also maintained its ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and ISO 50001 accreditations.
Actavo is a member of Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI), and in 2021 the company signed the BITCI Low Carbon Pledge, committing to reducing its carbon emissions by 2024 using science-based targets. Actavo also signed the BITCI Elevate Pledge, committing to taking positive action to build an inclusive workplace.
