Actavo Events delivers event infrastructure for Battle Cancer Scotland 2023

Actavo Events UK was proud to provide fencing and crowd control barriers for the Battle Cancer Challenge, which took place in Edinburgh, Scotland on 3 June. The event allowed participants to raise funds for a cancer charity of their choice, while completing a two and a half hour team fitness challenge. We are delighted with the feedback from our client.

I would like to express my sincere thanks for everything you did for us in making our day go so smoothly and achieve such great things. From the first email, through to quoting and proceeding with the order, your service was impeccable. Even with adding the couple of extra fence panels at the end, you didn't quibble and made it happen for us. I always knew where I stood and you never failed to keep up the communication, this may seem like normal expectations of service, but you wouldn't believe how many companies fail on that front, you certainly didn't. Not only that, your delivery driver was great, so understanding and genuinely interested in what we were doing, a pleasure to talk to. We pride ourselves in 'making amazing things happen' and this does not happen without people like you involved. You were an important cog in the mechanism that allowed:

- 108 teams to take on the Battle Cancer workouts.
- 403 athletes to give it their all during the workouts.
- The athletes to raise over £70,000 for their chosen cancer charities.

These figures are amazing and support the fact that we (you included) collectively delivered our biggest Scotland event to date. To say we are extremely proud is an understatement and again, cannot thank you enough. We will certainly be in touch for our event next year. Thank you again, I very much enjoyed working with you.
