Actavo Events delivered the events infrastructure for St Patrick’s Festival Parade on 17 March 2023, for our long-term client, St. Patrick’s Festival.

Two separate crews covered the installation and de-rig of the event. Over 70 event crew and management commenced work by streetlight from 2am on the morning of St Patrick’s Day, installing 13km of crowd control barriers, with 11 pedestrian crossing points to keep visitors safe throughout the event. 4 separate media structures were built to support live broadcasting and 2 fixed and 2 mobile grandstands were built for dignitaries. Once the event moved from the northside to the southside, the second 70-strong crew began removing all infrastructure from the streets allowing the Gardai to open up the streets to cars and pedestrians in a timely manner. The complex logistics of the event were coordinated from the command centre ensuring that everything went to plan.

I am so proud of our 140 crew, who worked through the night to install the event infrastructure and completed the de-rig seamlessly after the wonderful parade. Actavo Events is thrilled to have been trusted to deliver on such an iconic annual event. Congratulations to the St. Patrick's Festival team and all involved.
