We are proud to have recently completed The Barrow Street Public Realm Improvement Scheme for Dublin City Council. The project transformed a 420m strategic corridor into a high-quality, safe and accessible streetscape, enhancing connectivity between Ringsend Road and Grand Canal Street Upper.
The project included full carriageway reconstruction, granite footpaths, upgraded utilities, landscaping, street furniture, lighting and a new water bottle filling station, while maintaining continuous access for residents, businesses and major employers, including the Google campus.
Procured through competitive tender and delivered in seven phases, the scheme ensured two-way traffic and uninterrupted services through innovative traffic management and proactive stakeholder engagement.
The project delivers significant community benefits, improving safety, accessibility, sustainability and visual character, providing a durable public asset with long-term social and environmental improvements.
