Our Barrow Street Public Realm Improvement Scheme project has been named a finalist in the Irish Construction Excellence Awards 2026. This is a fantastic reflection of our partnership with Dublin City Council and the skill, collaboration, and commitment shown by our Civils team throughout delivery. We have been selected as a finalist in the “Public Realm, Public Heritage or Leisure Building” category.

Founded in 1993, the Irish Construction Excellence Awards (ICE Awards) are the original and premier recognition of performance excellence for construction in Ireland. It is an honour to feature amongst some of the best construction projects across the country.

Delivered on behalf of Dublin City Council, this project has transformed the area with a range of enhancements including new high-quality asphalt carriageways, granite footpaths, improved accessibility features such as tactile paving and pedestrian crossings, and the installation of modern street furniture.

From concept to completion, this scheme has redefined what a public space can be, vibrant, inclusive, sustainable, and deeply rooted in community needs.
