Actavo Industrial Ireland and UK celebrates safety milestone

Actavo’s Industrial Solutions teams in Ireland and the UK are celebrating a fantastic milestone in our safety performance. We have now achieved 3 Years without a Lost Time Incident, clocking up over 3 million safe hours worked in the process across all our project sites.

Our Industrial teams work on more than 30 project sites across Ireland and the UK, for blue chip clients across multiple sectors including construction, pharmaceutical, energy and power, providing scaffolding & alternative access solutions, protective coatings, and insulation & passive fire protection services.

Our core value, Live SAFETY, is central to our Health & Safety philosophy in Actavo. Over the last 3 years, our EHS team has led a series of initiatives within our Industrial teams, ranging from tailored leadership and supervisor workshops to new Induction training programmes, the creation of detailed Scaffolding Handling manuals, and a range of incentives and awards to encourage our teams to play an active role in ensuring that everyone goes home safe each day, aligned to our EHS vision – Together Towards Zero.

As a projects business, each day brings new risks and challenges.  Our Health & safety Management System is underpinned by our Golden Rules, setting out our minimum standards along with each person’s commitment to working safely by supporting and encouraging an environment that enables people to plan, engage, consult on a daily basis and empowers people to make the right decisions.
