Actavo Civils, in partnership with Dublin City Council, is proud to celebrate a win at the Irish Construction Excellence (ICE) Awards 2026 for the Barrow Street Public Realm Improvement Scheme.

The award-winning project transformed a key 420-metre urban corridor between Ringsend Road and Grand Canal Street Upper, delivering enhanced accessibility, upgraded infrastructure, improved public spaces, and a safer environment for pedestrians, cyclists, residents, and businesses.

The scheme included carriageway reconstruction, granite footpaths, utility upgrades, public lighting, landscaping, and new street furniture, all delivered within a busy city-centre environment while maintaining access for local stakeholders.

This recognition highlights the successful collaboration between Actavo Civils, Dublin City Council, project partners, and suppliers in delivering a high-quality public realm and civil engineering project that will provide lasting social, environmental, and community benefits.
