Actavo shape Actavo shape Actavo shape

Actavo is delighted to announce that it has become a signatory of Elevate, The Inclusive Workplace Pledge from Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI). Along with over 40 other signatories of the pledge, Actavo has committed to actively developing the diversity profile of its workforce, and to taking tangible actions to support inclusion at all levels across the business.

Participation in the pledge marks the most recent commitment from Actavo that aims to enhance its company culture and practices. The aim of the Elevate Pledge is to practically demonstrate a commitment by Irish businesses to building an inclusive workforce, and to act as a catalyst for wider, complementary initiatives to assist companies in achieving diversity, equity and inclusion targets.

Actavo has also committed to developing one new action annually relating to the recruitment or retention of diverse talents and must also report on the impact of this action. The company will collaborate with fellow signatories to learn and create solutions for social impact. Business in the Community Ireland will compile an annual report, which will record the diversity profile and performance of companies participating in the pledge.

“Actavo is proud to announce that it has signed up to Business in the Community Ireland’s Elevate Pledge. This pledge is a tangible demonstration of our commitment as a company to promoting diversity and inclusion among our workforce. We would like to commend our fellow signatories of the pledge for taking a leading role in promoting positive practices in this area in Irish companies. Inclusivity, diversity and tolerance are intrinsic to how we live our core value ‘perform as a team’ at Actavo, and we aim to continue to develop our culture and practices in a positive way.”

In March, Actavo also became a signatory of BITCI’s Low Carbon Pledge, which is the first dedicated pledge generated by Irish businesses to set industry standards on sustainability and reduce carbon emissions. Under the pledge, Actavo has committed to setting science-based emission reduction targets by 2024 at the latest, and to reducing their Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emission intensity by 50% by 2030, as well as aspects of Scope 3 emissions.
