Paul joined Actavo in October 2018 as Head of Group Services. He holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Carlow Institute of Technology and a BSc in Quantity Surveying from the University of Reading.
Paul previously worked for Kentz Group (now SNC Lavalin) as Regional Estimation Manager in Australia and EPC Manager for Kentz Group in the United Arab Emirates. He has 30 years’ experience working in a wide array of roles in Project Management, Cost Control, Contract Administration, Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Project Controls and Scheduling.
Paul is responsible for a variety of support functions within Actavo. He supports Commercial by providing oversight of the estimating process and commercial strategies at pre-award, along with scheduling and risk management support. He supports Project Controls by providing resources, procedures and tools for the planning, monitoring, and controlling of all phases of the project lifecycle. He also provides guidance and support to the Quality Control personnel across each division. His Procurement support involves providing purchasing services to the various Project Teams and managing the Actavo supplier base.
Paul identifies strongly with Actavo’s value Perform as a TEAM. He believes that working collaboratively leads to success and that working as a team makes the other Actavo goals achievable.
