Liam Ryan, Head of Network Operations, Ireland

Liam Ryan joined Actavo In December 2013 as Divisional Operations Director for the Network and In-Home division. In October 2019, he advanced to Head of Network Operations. In this role he is responsible for the overall management of the Networks division. The division designs, constructs and maintains telecommunication networks across Ireland.

Previously Liam was Utilities Operations Manger at Laing O’Rourke and before that Utilities Operations Manager at Barhale Construction.

While at Actavo, Liam was involved in the mobilisation of Actavo Networks on the island of Papua New Guinea and across the Caribbean islands.

Actavo’s Live SAFETY value is part of Liam’s everyday role. He ensures all projects are set up in a way that allows everyone to carry out their duties safely. He makes sure that resources are dedicated to auditing compliance against the company’s safety standards.

Liam values his can-do attitude and believes it helps him ensure that the appropriate skill sets are allocated to the corresponding positions within the Network division. He believes this contributes to Actavo’s ability to competently deliver quality products to its valued clients.
